The Clay County Public Health Center has expanded its H1N1 vaccination effort. Although people who are in the high risk categories are still strongly encouraged to be immunized, the health center will immediately begin offering the vaccine at their clinics to anyone who wants it. Clinics will no longer be limited to individuals in the CDC identified risk categories.
A public clinic will be held at the North Kansas City Community Center (corner of Iron & Armor) Thursday, December 10, 2009, from 2:00-7:00 p.m.
The health center has scheduled additional clinics at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, I-35 and 291 Highway from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- December 15
- December 22
These clinics are only for Clay County residents. There is no cost for the vaccination.
