Filing begins Tuesday, Dec. 22, for two director’s positions on the North Kansas City Schools Board of Education. Those positions are currently held by Mr. Terry Ward and Dr. Kathleen Harris, whose terms end in early April.
Candidates interested in filing for the two, three-year terms may first file from 8-10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, in the Thomas P. Cummings Administrative Center, 2000 N.E. 46th St. Filing for the April 6, 2010, general municipal election resumes Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., following winter break. Candidate filing closes Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 5 p.m.
