A special thanks goes to Lathleen who gave me the best advice anyone can ask for which was " I dont think about money thats first and foremost, I look to do what I love first, then to get paid second, I never look to get paid first."It's ironic how we share the same story. She went to college to pursue the career of Nursing because she was thinking about the money. After four years realizing it's just something she doesn't want to do . She put that career to a end and said enough is enough. So until the last year of her college career she switch her major to English and Journalism. The switch to her dream was a door open of opportunities -"It was the BEST thing I could have ever done!"-Lathleen. Having the opportunity to intern for many places such as at universal motown records, hot 97, uptown magazine, black beat and right on magazine, and those things gave her exposure to the industry like CRAZY, not only that, She met ALOT of people and networked with alot of folks and built alot of useful contacts.
