StarCraft is the real time strategy (rts) game made by Blizzard Entertainment. First it was developed by Microsoft Windows platform in 1998. The Mac OS version was published in 1999. The main plot tells about war of three galactis races: mobile Terrans, descendants of Human outcasts from Earth; hive mind Zerg; and the humanoid Protoss.
StarCraft become the best selling PC game in 1998 and won the Origins Award for Best Strategy PC Game of that year. In May 21, 2007, StarCraft has sold 9. million copies worldwide! 4.5 million of
copies were sold in South Korea. The second part, StarCraft II was announced on May, 2007 in Seoul in South Korea.
The main goal of the game is the elimination of your opponents units(beside the campaign). In that case you have to collect proper amount of resources to construct buildings, war units, do researches. The player starts with main building, few workers and small amount of resources.
