He's the third tennis player in the world and he's only 20! (Novak was born on 22nd of May 1987 in Belgrad). He started to play tennis when he was 4. He's high but also very slim. Since 2003 Novak has been a profesionalist in this game (before he was playing as a junior). In April in 2004 he made his debut in Serbia's representation in Davis Cup. One year later he played in a Grand Slam for the first time. He lost in first round with Marat Safin. In the next Grand Slam tournaments he played much better. In French Open 2005 he was in second round and in Wimbledon and US Open 2005 even in third. He ended the season as the younger tennis player in best hundred in STP ranking. In 2006 Novak was in the 1/4 of final in French Open where he lost with Rafael Nadal. Before that he won with three great players. In 2007 he lost with Nadal one more time in Pacific Life Open final. In French Open 2007 he was in semi-finals where he didn't won tith Spanish again (I just want to say that Nadal is second player in the world). In that year Novak won in Rogers Cup, where he won with Roger Ferderer with score 7:6, 2:6, 7:6. On 10th September 2007 he had his chance in final game in US Open, but after very hard and difficult game he lost with Federer (7:6, 7:6, 6:4). The year 2008 started really great to Novak. In Australian Open he won with Roger Federer in the semi-finals and in final he won with Jo-Wifried Tsonga. That was his first Grand Slam winning. I whink that he's gonna be the best player in the whole world. He plays strong, hadr and very clever (which is pretty good mixture). Novak is also young do -- everything is still before him.
