The house on the oak tree

In the middle of a lavender field in a gorgeous setting in Italy there is an amazing rural hotel. At La Piantata  they make their own olive oil, marmalades and honey. Idyllic setting? yes but I haven't yet told you the best part. The house on the oak. Oh my, I'm absolutely drooling. The suite on the oak has a 4 poster bed with white gorgeous linen, breathtaking views of the lavender valley and the olive grove and... breakfast in the terrace. They serve breakfast through a via pulley mechanism, like... REALLY!!
