I have an affinity for design, art and all things creative. I graduated with my bachelors for interior design last year, and just recently landed a great job with a design firm in Scottsdale AZ. I am working as an assistant designer and am truly loving my job. The design firm I work with primarily does new construction. This opens up a whole new window of design. We work with the architect + builder from the initial planning phase through to the installation. I really love what I do! I started Mi Vida Bonita blog 3 years ago as a way to talk about what I love most. ::d e s i g n::. Ever since I was a little girl I was always coloring, drawing or painting. My love of art and graphic design is where I finally put 2 together and opened up Mi Vida Bonita on etsy. I really enjoy playing with text and images to create beautiful art that inspires positive energy. Oh & looks pretty too, right?!
Who or what inspires you?
Who: I am inspired by powerful creative woman, such as Tory Burch, Diane Von Furstenberg and Kelly Wearstler.
What: Nature, Fashion, Love, Color
Your full time job is creative, does that help?
If I wasn't doing something creative I wouldn't be a happy person. It's just who I am, I obsess over it. Ask my guy, I really do! {it's all in good health}
Any advice to aspiring shop owners?
Never give up. It's important to get your work out there as much as you can, network, network, network...did I say network? I am still a "rookie" shop owner myself, but I feel I am on the right path.
