April 2 Is Deadline to Apply for Starlight Theatre Scholarship Program
Starlight Theatre announces the Fifth Annual Vincent Legacy Scholarship Program. This financial need-based scholarship opportunity for ethnically diverse students in grades 6, 7 and 8 is provided by the not-for-profit Starlight Theatre and local community leaders Greg and
Rebecca Reid.
Vincent Legacy Scholarships are intended “to provide youth who show performing arts promise the opportunity to further refine and improve their skills through professional instruction, but who otherwise might not be able to secure additional training.”
The Vincent Legacy Scholarship endowment fund provides $2,500 scholarships to fund professional performing arts instruction for at least two selected recipients each year. A total of nine Vincent Legacy Scholarships have been awarded during the first four years of the scholarship program.
