Monty Python's Flying Circus

Monty Python, The Pythons- the name of creators and stars of Monty Python's Flying Circus: Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones i Michael Palin. Palin and Jones first met at Oxford University, while Cleese and Chapman at Cambridge University. Idle also studied in Cambridge. Gillam met Cleese in New York, when he had a tournee with the 'A clump of Plinths' group. Before they stared to work together as 'Monty Python's Flying Circus', they appeard at programs:

-I'm Sorry, I'll Read that Again (1964-1973)
-The Frost Report (1966-1967)
-At Last the 1948 Show (1967)
-We Have Ways Of Making You Laugh (1968)
-Do Not Adjust Your Set (1968-1969)
-How to Irritate People (1968)
-The Complete And Utter History Of Britain (1969)
-Doctor In The House (1969)

The first series of 'Flying Circus' mainly was all about Cleese, but he wanted to work with others. And that how the organized group started. Each one wrote his own scenario, and after few days
the group met with Gilliam and talked about what they wrote. If something was funny- it was accepted. The same way they assigned roles.
Before they invented the name 'Monty Python's Flying Circus', they thought about other names, like 'Owl Stretching Time', 'Bunn', 'Wacket', 'Buzzard', 'Stubble and Boot', 'Gwen Dibley's Flying Circus'.
