The Best Ballet Choreographer Ever.


22.11.2007 died famous french ballet choreographer Maurice Bejart. He was 80. He had problems with heart and kidney. He's real name was Maurice Berger. He was born 1st January 1927 in Marsilia in Franch, there he took his first ballet lessons. After he was studing in Paris and London. As choreographer he had debuted in 1951 in Stockholm, where since 1950 to 1952 he was a dancer in famous Cullberg Ballet. Prominence assure him in 1955 presentation 'The Symphony of lonley man'. He had made more than 200 choreographies, which main theme was love and dead. To more importent choreographies belong: 'Święto wiosny' (Brussels- 1959), 'Suita wiedeńska' (Brussels- 1962), 'Pierścień Nibelungów' (Berlin- 1990) and so many others. Success attendant Ballet of Strawinski made that Bejart gain post choreographer and director of Ballet with chance to make his own big company in Brussels. In 1960 rising Ballet du XXe Siecle, which was one of the best modern ballet company. Since 1987 band act in Lozanna by name Bejart Ballet Lausanne. Bejart had work with the best ballet dancers like: Rudolf Nuriejew, Michaił Barysznikow, Maja Plisiecka, Carla Fracci, Jean Babilee, Marcia Haydee, Sylvie Guillem.
