The Missouri General Assembly passed a handful of education-related bills this session, including two of note.
HB 2002:
This is the appropriations bill for the 2010-11 school year which authorizes funding for K-12 public education. The legislature froze school funding for next year to the 2009-10 level.

HB 1543:
This is the education omnibus bill that passed on the last day of the legislative session. Fortunately for NKC Schools, harmful language that would have further reduced our state funding was removed at the last minute.
