Based off of a series of photographs, Sabre's A Wandering Journal provides an audio journey which lives up to its title. A cohesive album meant to be listened to in one sitting, it is a very innovative work, distancing itself from being just another LP that is more a less a collection of 12" singles.For me, the drums are the driving force of the album, emanating a moody tribal vibe throughout.
