Amla scored a double hundred as South Africa piled on a huge score. However South Africa was never allowed to get away with the run rate  and scored only 558 in almost 6 sessions. Even with an inexperienced middle order its unlikely that India will collapse twice in three days. Also is Sehwag bats for a length of time and Gambhir and Sachin also score freely India can get a big score pretty quickly and then it can be anybody’s game. Remember Australia had scored 550 odd runs in Adelaide in 2003 and still lost. If India can get to 500 in 4 sessions then they will be in with a chance.

Its upto Sehwag, Gambhir and that man Tendulkar now. Bowling did not deliver and with Dravid and Laxman missing the responsibility is on these guys. Steyn and Morkel vs Sehwag and Gambhir first thing in the morning…mouth watering contest!
