Bangladesh name squad for Australia ODI tour

Bangladesh have recalled all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to a 15-man squad touring Australia for a one-day International series starting later this month.

Wicketkeeper Dhiman Ghosh and pace bowler Nazmul Hossain were also recalled for the three-match series, the trio replacing batsman Nazim Uddin, wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim and left-arm spinner Mosharraf Hossain.

Rahim was dropped due to a shoulder injury while Uddin and Hossain were overlooked following poor performances at the Asia Cup in Pakistan in June and July, a Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Sunday.

Bangladesh will leave Dhaka on Aug. 14 and will play five warmup matches ahead of the series that starts on Aug. 30 at Darwin, where two other matches will also be played on Sept. 3 and Sept 6.
