The Northland Diversity Council is sponsoring a student essay contest. The purpose of the competition is to examine issues of race, gender and ethnicity that confront our communities as we become more diverse. This year's topic is "Lincoln and Slavery". Entries must be submitted by Feb. 6, 2010.
