When looking at Detroit techno a few obvious names stick out. But I don't have to go on about the Derrick Mays and Kevin Saundersons of the world as I'm sure they've already been given due recognition. While these allstars were cranking out tunes others were doing the same, yet receiving far less attention and air-play. Perhaps mistakenly overlooked amongst the mix of beats being made at the time, Blake Baxter brings forth an almost psychedelic feel to a genre often lost inside of its own definition.
