Sachin Tendulkar leads Idea Caller League

The cricket maestro Sachin Tendukar forged another milestone in his personal caliber as he received most calls on Idea mobile. The scheme, mooted by the Idea was to reach the mass by linking the Indian cricketer over the mobile. The man who has to his credit, as many as runs in the cricket world, is setting another record in this scheme. The captain of the Mumbai Indians team in the ongoing IPL matches could become the receiver of almost half the number of calls made to the Idea. The promotional campaign was initiated on April 20 by which any member from the 25 member squad of the Mumbai Indians can be dialed for a personal talk. As of date, 7.5 lakh callers have made their presence to the scheme and out of these, Sachin received almost half of them, coinciding with his birthday.

Harbhajan and the pace star Zaheer followed Sachin. The virtual response, by way of recorded voice of the chosen cricketer, is on the air round the clock available to any place of contact. Idea feels the response to the scheme is tremendous akin to its “What An Idea, Sirji”. Idea is sure that the fans would feel much elated to speak to the cricketers and there is an assurance that the calls made to the players are being forwarded to them.
