Listening to the radio? Yes!

There're different methods of learning foregin languages including English. One of them I'd like to recommend to you is listening to the radio stations. Thanks to the Internet it's possible to listen almost all the stations worldwide online. It's a great opportunity to practise your abilities to listening other people and it's an invaluable source of 'Real English'.

The problem is which radio station I should choose? There're some clues. First of all, try to listen to British broadcasters - they usually use 'proper' English and present good, modern music. I recommend you strongly BBC. Why? That's the biggest broadcasting company in the UK and one of the biggest in the world. It is said, they hire the best journalists and offer the quality entertainment.

The BBC website is very modern - you can listen to its stations (there are plenty!) without installing any software - they offer their own radio player. There's a possibility of downloading a file and then listening using Real Player. That's your choice!

If you're interested in everyday news I recommend to you "BBC World Service". If you prefer brand new music - listen to BBC 1. For 'intelligent speech' use BBC 2 etc.

Enjoy!
