Students, Teachers, Parents and Administrators Speak Up!
NKC Schools is participating in Speak Up 2010, a national research project facilitated annually by Project Tomorrow, a national nonprofit organization in Irvine, CA. We are using Speak Up to collect views of our students, parents, teachers and administrators about key educational issues regarding technology, 21st Century skills, schools of the future, math instruction and career exploration. In February 2011, we will receive the survey results and use the information to inform our discussions and decisions about curriculum, professional development and budgeting priorities. This year’s topics include: - Technology usage in and out of the classroom
- Math Education and career exploration
- 21st Century skills: digital citizenship
- Emerging Trends: digital content, gaming and online learning
- Designing the 21st century school
The survey is open until Jan. 21. Take 15-20 minutes and visit www.speakup4schools.org/speakup2010 to take the survey. Select the survey you wish to take (student, teachers/administrators or parents), search to find your school and log in with the password of “technology”.
