Growing Schools. Growing Community.

Parents Choose NKC Schools for Academic Excellence.
New families continue to choose NKC Schools for their children’s education. Despite a challenging economy, the District and the Northland are gaining new residents and new homes. From January through October 2010, Clay County issued 420 housing permits. During that same time period, Platte County issued 149.

Growth appears to be on the horizon for several years to come. This school year, NKC Schools grew by 300 students. The district’s most recent demographics study predicts enrollment will continue to grow by 300 students a year for the next five years. In September 2015, NKC Schools should exceed 20,000 students strong.
