Tell us a bit about yourself and your work. How did it all start?i'm a wife, mom and graphic designer. "SweetBeaker", you ask? it's my nickname and also the name of my shoppe. i offer both custom paper goods design and a lovely selection of everyday favorites. all goods are designed, printed, hand-cut and assembled in my home studio. if there is a ribbon to be tied, i tie it. if there is a special shaped to be cut, i cut it. i package and ship everything from my studio too.
i've always had an affinity for paper goods, office supplies and the such but it wasn't until my daughter was born and i couldn't find exactly what i wanted for the price i wanted that i really got started.
Who or what inspires you? everything inspires me...my daughter, my family, simplicity, typography, good design, a dash of color, blogs, peers, coworkers...the list could go on and on :)
What do you love most of what you do?i really love being able to immerse myself in paper every day and finding new ways to make it shine. i'm truly passionate about the idea of SweetBeaker and it makes me most happy to be able to share it with others.

Any advice for aspiring shop owners?believe in yourself. if you have an idea, go for it and don't let anyone stop you.
