City Holds Public Budget Meetings
The City Manager of Kansas City, MO, has submitted a serious budget for serious times. The budget is more than a financial document. It is a plan, punctuated with dollar signs, revealing what the City wants to be as a community and how they propose to get there. Community participation in shaping the plan is critical, and budget hearings are being held to encourage active engagement. Northland meetings include:
District 1
Saturday, Feb. 27, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Shoal Creek Police Academy
6885 N.E. Pleasant Valley Rd.

District 2
Thursday, Feb. 25, 6-8 p.m.
Plaza Middle School
6501 N.W. 72nd St.

Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work. Working together, our city will once again endure and flourish.

Are you looking for a new twist on the same old Easter egg hunt? If so, the City of Gladstone has exactly what you are looking for! Attend the 4th Annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, March 26, to experience the newest craze in egg hunting. It provides fun for all ages. While the older kids wait, fun games will keep them entertained. Come to Happy Rock Park for festivities beginning at 7 p.m. The first hunt starts at 7:45 p.m.
In case of inclement weather, please call (816) 437-2489 and dial option #4. A makeup date has been preset for Saturday, March 27. There is a $3 fee for this event.
