Brett Lee reunites with Australian cricket team

Cricket speedster Brett Lee will open up today about his cricketing future after the break-up of his marriage.

Lee will speak to the media this morning after announcing last night he would reunite with his Australian cricket teammates today for the first time since the split with his wife.

Lee is scheduled to spend several hours in Darwin with his teammates, who yesterday wrapped up a one-day series win over Bangladesh with an eight-wicket victory in game two at TIO Stadium.

The fast bowler was granted permission to sit out this series for personal reasons following his split with his wife of two years, Liz Kemp, last month.

Cricket Australia confirmed Lee, 31, would not play in Saturday's third and final one-dayer, as he was flying into Darwin this morning and would only spend a few hours in the city before returning to Sydney.

Lee is understood to be keen to renew contact with his teammates following the breakdown of his marriage.

Lee will speak to the media this morning.
