Start Smart Baseball
Registration will begin April 18 for the Start Smart Baseball program sponsored by Gladstone Parks and Recreation. This 6-week program is for boys and girls ages 3 to 5 years old, and introduces the game of baseball and its skills without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Gladstone Municipal Pool Memberships Available for Purchase
Season memberships to the Gladstone Municipal Pool are now available for purchase at Gladstone Community Center. Pool passes also can be purchased at Gladstone City Hall. Season passes offer unlimited visits for each pass holder. If purchased before May 14, patrons receive the “Early Bird” rate.
The pool features an Olympic-size main pool with one and three meter diving boards, an open flume slide and a drop slide. The pool has zero depth entry along with new spray features, a 900-gallon dumping bucket and shade structures. Restrooms, showers, family changing room, individual lockers and a concession stand are additional amenities.
The Municipal Pool is open Monday-Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon-7 p.m. For more information on pool passes, swim lessons, or developmental swim team please contact the Gladstone Community Center (816) 423-4200.
