Girls Golf
Winnetonka’s Emma Windham finished 6th with a score of 94 at the girls district golf tournament on Sept. 29. She advanced to the sectional tournament that was played Oct. 6. At sectionals, Emma finished in the top five with a score of 88. She has now qualified for state for the second consecutive year.
Boys Soccer
The Oak Park Northmen played Liberty North on Sept. 30. The team dominated the field, winning 4-0. Goals came from Mustafa Salihbegovic, Rajko Radovic, Pierre Francois and Dylan Drambour. The shutout went to goalkeepers Andrew Fishel and Matt Ebinger.
The team also played Oct. 5 against St. Joe Central. The two teams battled to a 1-1 tie in regulation play, with the Northmen scoring the winning goal in overtime. Dylan Drambour and Ray Saari scored goals in Oak Park’s 2-1 win.
Last but not least, the Oak Park Northmen played the NKC Hornets Oct. 6, with Oak Park winning 5-0. Ray Saari scored two goals for the Oakies. Dylan Drambour, Sam Lopez and Andrew Fishel each had a goal. Goalkeeper Matt Ebinger recorded the shutout.

Softball
Oct. 1 the Lady Hornets Softball team played Truman. The team lost 7-0. Senior Jazymn Holt was 2-for-3 with two singles. Junior Jessica Connor also hit for a single.
The Lady Hornets took on Ft. Osage Wednesday, Oct. 6, losing 16-6. Senior MacKenna Nolan was 2-for-4 scoring one run, hitting two triples and batting for three RBI’s. Freshman Maggie Brooks was 3-for-3, scoring one run and batting for an RBI. Senior Jazmyn Holt was 2-for-3 and scored a run. Freshman Jordan Knox was 2-for-3, scoring a run and batting for an RBI. Senior Amber Dobbins was 1-for-3 and scored a run.
