Hey Chicago!!I was recently at Debonair Social Club and I ran into La Dolce Vita. They were spinning some of my favorite tracks that I was happy to finally hear someone dropping, but then I found out they produce as well; something you often hear from Dj's. But little did I know that these two fellows were two of Chicago's most up-and-coming producers, shredding apart remixes and slaying originals like it was their day job -- oh wait, it is!
When waking up in a sky-rise apartment overlooking the beautiful Lake Michigan, it must not be hard to find inspiration, however, these kids really know how to make these tracks snap, and the music truly speaks for itself. Take the Katy Perry rmx for instance: I really didn't care for the original, but once I heard their rmx, I couldn't stop listening to it! Each track is unique with vocal chops like a goddamn robotic sushi chef and bassdrops that will make anyone in a club get up and dance-that-ass-off!
Boasting acclaimed rmx's of Shiny Toy Gun's "Le Disko", Yelle's "Mon Mellieur Ami", Femme Fatality's "Lucky Lover" as well as Mindless Self Indulgence's "On it", more bangin' and suped-up as ever, prepare to have La Dolce Vita repeating on that iPod for a while!!
