Iron maiden

Iron Maiden  is my favourite music band.
They existed for 30 years. Roughly 30 years. They sing hard rock, metal something about this but they do that very good.
RESPECT...
The vocalist has very good voice, and, guitarists are very, very good, they have realy perfect and long guitar solos. His domen is that they have in each music 5 or 6 or 8 or more minutes guitar solos.

Dirty Dancing: Havana nights! ;*

The second part of "dirty Dancing" is better production than the firs one. The action takes place in Cuba ;) To Havana arrives teenage Katie (Romola Garai). She's really upset by this situation, because she has to leaves the school in the last year. But her younger sister is very happy. Havana is shared between rich Americans and poor Cubans. Katie tries to live normal life until she meets Havier ( Diego Luna). He works in her hotel as a waiter. One day the girl gets lost in the city and she sees him dancing on the street. Katie is really delighted and a little scared as well. He invites her to the club, where the girl gets schocked when she sees all ancing pairs. Sha like it very much and reports her and Havier to a dance competition. A second part is much better than the first, becouse it shows what is the best in this movie- DANCE. You can also see a great mix of traditional and latino dances.

The Au Pairs Sun- Kissed

A novel by Malissa de la Cruz "The Au Pairs Sun- Kissed" is a perfect book for "Gossipgirl"s fans. We can find there a few really funny stories and we can see the world of stars.
This is a story obput au pairs: Jacqui, Eliza and Mara. All of them met three tears ago when they were looking after a Perry's children. Now only one of them is a nanny, yhe rest take jobs before they'll go to college.
Eliza is an only child. She is beautiful and rich. Ahe takes a job in a famous desinger, Sidney Minks. In short time she shows thst she's got a big talesnt to wera a models. She's happy so she doesn't expact that her friend, Paige, plans something very cruel. anh she's got a problems with her boyfriend, Jeremy too, because he thinks that Eliza is a "princess", who does nothing.
Mara is practical journalist. Ske works for a famous Sam Davis. She's doing better and people like reading her arcitles. But there is a Tinker and her boyfriend Ryan is real lay-killer.
Jacqui works for Perry's family. She meets three hansome millioners. Jacqui stars to visit them and she saves Anna's and Kevin's marriage so she doesn't have to come back to brazil.

The nanny diaries

Story about young girl, who by chance started to be a nanny. It tells how hard is this job, especially when your free time goes away.
Annie is modest and shy (Scarlett Johansson). She has never worked as a nanny so it's something new for her. Mrs X (Laura Linney), her boss, says that Annie can't meet with men if she does't want to be dismissed. At the beginig her foster- kid strips up trouble, which indicates a lot of funny situations, but in times he becomes attched to Annie.
Then she meets Harvard Hottie, who lives in the next apartament. He really likes her, but he knows that he can't meet with her. But finally Annie agrees to go out with him and they started to fall in love with each other.
Despite that it's really funny movie, I don't recommend it to anybody, because I was very disappoinment watching it.

Chicago

A movie by Rob Marshall, "Chicago" is a about how hard is to climb the top and how fast you can fall from it. Velma Kelly (Catherine Zeta- Jones) and Roxi Hart (Renee Zellweger) are in prison for murders. A lawyer, Billy Flynn (Richard Gere), tries to get them out of this place.
This is a fantastic musical. There is a lot of cabarets an jazz. A lot of songs, especially "The Cell Block Tango". I love it!
Roxi Hart is sweet, blonde woman, who kills her lover, To get out from prison she needs a human mercy. She started to intigue a plan how to do this with her lawyer's help.
Her rival is famous singer- Velma Kelly. And she wants to get out from prison too.
The movie shows what exactly is the most important in the whole world- money, money, money! I love this film, especially for this tango. I always watch it in my free time.

AC Milan 2 - 0 Genoa

On last Sunday Milan played on stadium Giuseppe Meazza ( San Siro ) with Genoa. Newspapers wrote about Ronaldo and his injury but it everything is bullshit . Supporters thought about Pato and his game . On stadium came many of 50 000 supporters. The first half of the match was boring. Footballers haven’t idea for match. The first half closed with result 0-0.

At the stadium were heard whistles of supporters which wanted watch goals on this match.

The second half was more interesting than first . In 68 minute Pato ( which is 18 years old and he is a riddle ) scored first goal on this match, Milan bought him for the 25 million euro. Supporters started loud singing and they support them favourite club. Footballers started playing the good match. Supporters were pleased because in 82 minute brazilian footballer - Pato scored second goal in this match ( Pato in Milan played 4 matches and scored 3 goals – wow…because he is only 18 years old ). Supporters applauded him ( Pato ) on standing position. Match ended with result 2 – 0 . All supporters from San Siro was very happy ( me too ). Milan coach - Carlo Ancelotti said that Pato is a diamond but is necessary to grind it [ clean or care ;) ] – FORZA MILAN !!! ( In english ‘go go go Milan’ :D )

Theme Parks

Legoland is situated near the town of Billund in Denmark where Lego and Duplo pieces have been made for 64 years. There are two main areas in Legoland. One is Miniland with minature models depicting Amsterdam, Copenhagen harbour and an English village as well as the Taj Mahal constructed of Lego. The second area contains rides including a sky railway amini driving school and an exciting boat ride called Pirateland all of which are great for kids.
Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom in Florida is suitable for all ages. It is made up of seven lands each with a different theme and rides ranging from the petrifying Space Moutain to the more sedate Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion. It's also a delight to see Mickey Mouse and his friends. Probably the best attractions at the Magic Kingdom is the daily Mickey Mania parade and the evening fireworks show.

The Dragon Boat Festival

In China, toward the end of June, people celebrate a holiday known as the Dragon Boat Festival. The festival is held to honour the memoryof Qu Xuan a politican and poet who in the year 278 B.C. have commited suicide by jumping into river. It is said that local people threw rice dumplings into water to save Xuan's soul from the evil spirits in the river. Now boat races are held evey year to remind people of the search for the body of the dead poet. Spectators eat rice cakes and crews row large dragon-shaped boats. Some reserchers say that dragon boat existed long before the death of Xuan and the modern festival is a combination of several old traditions.

The Rio Carnival

The festival is the largest in the world. Thousands of visitors come every year for the celebrations before the start of Lent(a fasting period of forthy days before Easter). The carnival takes place in the Sambadrome a huge stadium. There samba schools compete with each other for the best costumes and dancing. They spend a lot of time and money on carnival preparations. masks, decorations and teaching the samba. In the past the carnival procession was held in the streets of Rio, where beautifully clothed people threw streamers and confetti and danced for four days. Now, the world's biggest street party has become a pleasure only for those who can afford the entrance fee.

Jožin z Bažin ;))

'Jožin z Bažin' is a czech song perform by Ivan Mládka and Iva Pešáka in 1978. This video is very funny. That's why it's so popular in Poland and Hungary. But story of Jožin is very sad. He's living on bog in Morawy and he eat mainly inhabitants of Prague. Mayor bid that if someone kill him, he's going to get his daughter as wife and half of National Agrarian Farm. But you can read it on your own in english:

Dance Of Death

Let me tell you a story to chill the bones about thing that I saw one night wandering into the everglades  I`d one drink but no more I was rambling enjoying the bright moonlight gazing up at the stars not aware of a presence of near to me watching my every move.
Feeling scared and I felt to my knees something rushed me from the trees. 
Took me to an anholy place, that is where I fell from grace.
Than they summoned me over to join in with them, to the Dance of the Death.
Into The circle of fire I followed  them into the middle I was led.
As if time has stopped still, I was nomb with fear but still I wanted to go.
And the blaze of the fire did no hurt upon me as I walked onto the coals.
An I felt I was in the trance and my spirit was lifted from me,
and if only someone had the chance to witness what happend to me.
And I danced and I pranced and I sang with them all had death in their eyes
Lifeless figures they were undead all of them, they were ascended from hell.

Has I danced with the death my free spirit was laughing and howling down at me.
Below my unded body just danced a circle of death.

A nightmare

Today on Polish we had to write about our nightmarish dream. Interesting subject, isn't it?

Someday woke up me nightmarish dream. I was dreaming about trip with my friends to a forest on bikes. When we were riding through holes in our beautiful roads one of friends fell a chain out. We stoped to help him. We decided to look for some stone to fix the chain. Unfortunately on the road wasn't any stone, so we came to the forest. When mate behind me shouted that he have the stone I at the same moment heard a squeak of my break in my bike. A laziness for the first time was useful. I've never wanted to put the break right. Immediately I shouted to friends that someone's stealing our bikes. In fact, when we came back, left bikes disappeared. Then one friend said that he heard something like a rustle in bushes, which can be steps of eg. a murderer. From our quatre of happy bikers stayed only trinity of little less happy people. One of us ran away. I and my two other friends were waiting for something or someone from behind of bushes. A temperature was rising and at last from behind of the bushes appeared a wild boar. The animal had strange foam in its mouth and was wildly looking at us. Immediately we ran away. We were runnig as fast as much power we had in our legs. During escape we made a mistake and went not right road. We were runnig steep in down then a friend fell over and rolled into precipice. We saw him on a tree when we had gone to the precipice. Under him was waiting for him the wild boar. It seemed that it's impossible to the boar would be there so quick but it is. Completely as the animal would violate a sapce-time and go for a short travel in time. Impossible, but that happend. That wild boar isn't normal wild boar. It's a creature of a crazy scholar, of which voice we heard behind our back when we were wondering how to help the friend. We turned around and saw a face of an old man at the mament the man pushed us. When we were falling we pushed down the friend from the tree. After a spill I had a open fracture of my leg and friends seemed be dead. I looked at the boar. The beast was runnig on me then I woke up.

Can somebody explain me what that dream could means?

Sahara is a desert in north Africa. It's the bigest desert on the Earth. It's almost like USA, and is larger than Australia. Ther's over 9 064 000 quadratic kilometers of send. It runs on length 5700 km of Atlantic Ocean on the west to Red Sea on the east; Atlas mountains and Mediterranean retrench her on north. It prepossess territory of eleven countries: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Western Sahara, Mauretania, Republic of Mali, Niger, Chad and Sudan. Sahara range area of fourteen smaller deserts: Al-Dżuf, Erg Szasz, Erg Ikidi, Big Erg Eastern, Big Erg Western, Tadmait, Tanizruft, Hamada al-Hamra, Ahaggar, Tibesti, Tener, Libyan Desert, Bajuda and Arabian Desert. Becouse of desert terms ther's not to much people. Inhabitants are Nomads and the Tuaregs. But you can find there such animals as: addax, fennec fox, lesser gerbil, oryx, dromedary camel, barbary sheep, african wild ass, nubian ibex, varanidae, scorpions and dorcas gazelle.

Valencia's Fallas Fiesta

Th most spectacular of Spanish’s thousands of festivals must be Valencia’s Fallas Fiest. A two-day event celebrating the end of winter. The Fallas Fiesta and street party start at noon on St. Joseph’s Day 19th March with a deafening explosion of fireworks. Then there are contests for the best paella – a traditional Valencian rice dish. People gather in the streets to admire the costumes of the men dressed up as the moors who occupied the city until the 13th century. In the months before the fiesta craftsmen create around 370(!) papier mache sculptures the fallas which are detailed caricatures of local people. At midnight when the fallas are burnt the burst of flames and fireworks symbolically forces out the winter.

Crocodiles

For centurie people lived with the all powerful crocodile. Those snapping jaws and lethal teeth frightened all attackers away whether human or animal. People were also fascinated by their characteristic calls their beauty and their inteligence. Unfortunately it was their beauty skin which put them under threat. When explorers realised how valuable crocodile skin was everything changed. Hunters risked their lives in order to satisfy the world’s demand for crocodile skin. Worse was to come. The crocodile’s homes began to disapper as new towns and industries were developed on the land near swamps and rivers. Luckily for the crocodiles people realised that a world without them would just not be the same and now they have been officialy declared an endangered species. I some parts of the world there are now parks where crocodiles may live safely with laws to protect them.

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born In Germany In 1879. As a boy he thought school was boring. At the age of fifteen he left school without any qualifications. However a few years later he continued with his studies in Switzerland and graduated in 1900. Over the next few years he did a lot of research in mathematics and physics. He wrote articles for scientific magaazines about his discoveries which changed man’s view of the Universe. In 1921 he won the Nobel Prize For Physics and became one of the most respected physicists in The World. In 1939 he left Germany and settled in America were he did research at the Institute for Advanced Studies. His research and theories were late used to develop the atomic and hydrogen bombs. Einstein died in 1955 in the US and A.

Oktoberfest

Foreign beerlovers might think that the Germans are unimaginative when it comes to beer because it all seems to taste very similar. There are many regional and seasonal differences particularly in Bavaria and Munich. Oktoberfest the world's largest beer festival begins in September and to mark the occasion each of Munich'a many breweries makes a specoal beer. Cause of this an astonishing variety of different types and strength of beer are available at this festival.

Dark Taxi

The drivers of London’s black cabs learn their trade in hard way. In order to get their famou green badge the drivers have to complete ‘The Knowledge’. Getting this qualification involes getting on a moped and memorising every street within six miles of Charing Cross. Taxi drivers are regulated by the Metropolitah Police and discipline is very important. Exams are conducted with military formality and future drivers are ofen nervous. The minimum fare is only ₤1.50 the driver’s weekly wage can be up to ₤800!

The final game of the Australian Open

On Sunday in Melbourne there was a final men match of the Australian Open tournament. Opposite each other there stood French, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Serbian, Novak Djoković. In the tournament they both showed a big determination, talent and great tennis skills. Neither of them has won as big tournament before. But Djoković had his chance last year in the US Open. He lost that time in the final game with Roger Federer. This time Swiss lost in semi-finals and Serbian got his second chance, which he absolutely made this time.
The Serbian winning in the final wasn’t a big surprise. He’s (although he’s very young) the 3rd tennis player in the world. But everyone was surprised that a second finalist was Tsonga. Nobody thought that he could go so far, because before the Australian Open (and his second location) he was on the 38th place in the world tennis players list.
The match started really well. Both of the players – young, tall and talented – were fighting for every ball. Tsonga won the first set. To the second part Serbian came with even more determination than to the first. He won the second, third and fourth sets. After the 3rd part French was a little bit discouraged, but he was playing really good to the end. In the 4th set there appeard a chance for him, because Djoković had some troubles with his leg. After a break he came back to the play with bigger strengths and he was doing his best. Finally, after almost 3 hours of playing Novak Djocović won the Australian Open.
Djoković, who is now 20 years old, is the 4th tennis player who won so big prize in so young age and he’s the first Serbian who won the Grand Slam tournament. The winning didn’t give him promotion to the 2nd place, which belongs to Rafael Nadal now, but it made him a little bit closer to the Spanish. I hope that Djoković will be on the 1st place in a few years. He absolutely deserves it.

Before war Samnits made coalition several populations such as Etruscan civilization(population lieges near Tyrrhenian Sea),Celts, Galls ,Umbrians thanks to this Samnits enlist superiority on Italian Peninsula and started war with Roman republic. Third Samnite War go on between 298 to 290 year BC .The war started from small battle-Battle of Camerinum which took place in 298 BC, Roman Republic army commanded by Lucius Cornelius Scipio Barbatus defeated battle. The main battle took place in 295 BC it was-Battle of Sentinum(Roman Republic strength-about 38000 soldiers commanded by Decius Mus and Fabius Maximus Rullianus against coalition of Italy which had about 38000 soldiers command by Egnatius) which resulted Roman victory. On the battlefield lieges dead 2500 soldiers from Roman republic army and 8500 soldiers from the Italian coalition. The battle which decided about Roman victory in this war –Battle of Aquilonia where Roman republic army destroyed again Italian coalition in 293 BC .After that victory Roman republic army started the siege capital of Samnites- Venusia which was captured in 291 BC .In 290 BC a both sides made a peace, Rome enlist superiority on Italian Peninsula.

Friendly match : Wisła Płock - Pogoń Szczecin

Today at 15 o’clock Pogoń played a friendly match with the Wisła Płock all time of the match wind blew very strong , the Match was just enough onlooker... and Pogoń could have safisfaction after the match because Pogoń drew with the club which play in second league.

In Pogoń was debut three young players who presented themselves from the good side...

Chifon surprised all supporters him form. He played as if he was 20 years old . The Kuras ( Pogoń coach )today Parzy played on the position of left back ( Parzy always played on right midfielder ) .

The coach praised his footballers and promising us the promotion to II league ( now Pogoń play in IV league ). Supporters trust the coach for his decision but they not believe in the promotion to second league, because Pogoń haven’t many players who can play one time of the several days…Now a promotion is most important, I have big respect for Kuras behind what he did for Pogoń but I am doubting in his ability, unfortunately…

Hooligan , Match ...

Italian newspapers informed people that to the Milanu seat a sent parcel in which he found had stayed sie the cartridge from pistoletu...hooligan wrote that letter bvecause he was furious at owners and Milan coach since they are playing too poor in the present season. What's interesting the similar letter was sent to different Milan club - Inter.

In last wednesday AC Milan played match ( away ) with Atalanta Bergamo... The meeting was boring... few goal situations... the result is bad from my point of view... Milan can’t defeat Atalanta and he lost deserving... I’m angry because Milan is on 11 place in the schedule table and it will be hard for them to take the place 3-4 for the end of season.

Many people think that young brazilian - Pato (in a Brazilian language - Duck;)) which is 18 years old will help with achievement 4 or 3 places for the end of season.

Samnium Wars

Battle of the Caudine Forks in II Samnium War in 321 year BC

Samnium wars are the next part of story about Roman Republic .First of all I must tell you about attacked Celts in 386 year before Jezus Christ was born(Celts were Indo-European group which spoke Celtic language and lived in Great Britain and in north France).Celts destroyed all the Rome city when gooses from the Capitol Hill woke up defenders of Rome who started fight with Celts and thanks to gooses soldiers saved Rome. After this attack Rome started built a new wall made of stone. Rome was rebuilt and started attacked on Samnites. First war with Samnites took place between 343 to 341 BC in this war Roman republic won two battles and Samnits became willing to make a peace. Second war with Samnites took place 326 to 304 BC. Roman republic continued expansion on territory of Italy but in 321 BC took place a huge battle-Battle of the Caudine Forks. Roman republic army was command by consul Titus Vetorius Calvinus against to Samnium army command by Gaius Pontius.The result of this battle for Roman republic was sad,Rome loosed battle and four couple of years stoped expansion on Samnites. After many of battles a both sides conclusioned peace in 304 BC which was a little brake in Samnium Wars.
