A summer luncheon

This is a rather oldie but a goodie! What would you give for this patio and this kitchen? It belongs to Susie Crippen, founder of J.Brand and these photos are the result of a great Elle shoot. Food, gorgeous frocks and incredible interior, please where do we sign?

I really like the casualness of this lunch party and the garden is beyond incredible. Rustic and glamourous at the same time. 

A Colorful baby shower

How pretty is this baby shower tablescape shoot by Brea McDonald. I love the simplicity of the flowers and warm colors. And I love (yes!) that this theme can be used for any informal gathering. Simple, pretty and stylish!

Ready for the weekend? I definitely am! I have no plans at all, which is always welcome. The weather is getting colder and I'm planning on having some down town, watch films, catch up on your blogs and read the many many magazines I have waiting. 
Might also visit the pop up Kate Spade store. I'll definitely let you know if I make it out of the house ;)

Loving baby showers

I was supposed to go to a baby shower last week, a shower for a very much wanted baby girl, it was my first one (shower that is) and I was really excited! But it never happened, the shower did, me going never happened, I'll spare you the details as it's ewally embarrassing... But well...who doesn't love sweet events? Pinks, yellows, blues! Cakes, cake pops, cupcakes, marshmallows! Paper flowers, balloons! Love, love, love! Some of my faves are here.

El Tiovivo de Clara

I admire entrepreneurs, especially if they are women and especially if their business is a result of a dream. Alba is a Spanish mom and owns a party company.  A friend of her, Natalia,  contacted me last week (without Alba knowing it) to show me El Tiovivo de Clara (Clara's Carousel) and what they do. She gave me a bit of a background and I was immediately taken by her story. Who doesn't like good organized pretty parties? I do! Real party: Clara's Birthday

I'm really excited to be showing you these beautiful photos from Clara's birthday party. Clara is Paula's princess, the super mommy behind the super cool spanish Blog HolaMama 

Paula blogs about anything baby and kids related, and she blogs it really nicely, really really. 

She thought a lot about what she wanted to do, and here is the result, a combo of yellow and pink, and several great artists coming together.

Paula was helped by the people at Nice Party, a super super cool events company in Madrid. Now, don't tell me they didn't do a great job?

The fabulous cake and cutest cupcakes were created by Mariana from Pan de Azucar Cupcakes. First, it looks gorgeous, second it looks TOO delicious!!

The cookies were done by Kukis, I love their shops, they have all his tiny super cute cookies that always make me swoon. 

All the graphic work (invitations, tags, toppers)  is by the super cool Andrea from Project Party Studio, and I am very very happy as I loooooove her work, can't wait to meet her the next time I go to Barcelona.
