Mid Century Love

Lately I have been looking to add a console to seat behind our sofa. I would love some extra storage and I think it would look nice in the overall living room look. And in this search I have been drawn towards a mid century look. Clean lines, structured oak, plenty of space and sophisticated look. A real winner. The rocker chair is also in my dream list. Tea and greens

Well it's almost almost here, the weekend is here! Is everyone excited? I certainly am! No specific plans, maybe a trip to Ikea. I have been thinking of going for ages but never made it. I would also like to pick up (somewhere?!) some vintage(y) tea tins to make something like this here. How gorgeous it is? I have wished many times I had a window just above the sink!

Brunch in Paris

I'm pretty sure you have all already seen this today but I had to post it, too lovely to miss really! Today I feel like wearing a low cut fabulous black dress, red lips and nails and lower down my wayfarers, while I eat brunch and read the newspaper. Too much? it wouldn't be if I was in Paris is the 1950's, would it now? This Breathless inspired outfit by photography extraordinaire Jamie has me dreaming. 

I Heart Pinterest

I started this blog to store images, then it grew to what it is today. Then I opened a Tumblr account which is very nice and I love but it still was a bit of a hassle to upload, add url, tag etc etc. But then Pinterest came AND made my day. It didn't work for a while, and I was really frustrated until I emailed them and they answered within minutes telling me that I need to update my Safari browser. I did and it works wonders! it's THE way to store images, create boards, get inspired by other, like and repin. You definitely need to try it, let me know if you want an invite I have some and I'd love to share the joy.

The Yellow Mood

Happy Saturday!! Hope you are enjoying and having a great time. Here the sun is NOT shining, it's plainly raining. But I'm not going to complain, I don't mind, I had not outdoor plans today so Im happy to just stay in and catch on my blog reading (sorry if I haven't been around your, I will!), magazine reading and some house chores too. But I still wanted a bit of sunshiny eye candy and to me the best way to achieve it is through yellow. Many of you have done the yellow post so here are my faves. Enjoy the weekend and to those in the US, Happy Memorial weekend!
