La belle vie at Ile de Re

Since I'm half Greek I had never really considered holidaying anywhere else but that's not the case anymore. The South of France must be gorgeous, Cornwall is what everyones thinks England should be and the tiny land of Ile de Re in the French Atlantic coast sounds like a dream. Oh mais oui. It's not like the South, or so they say, it's relaxing and slow. Paved little streets, jasmine scents, the ocean near by... très magnifique!

Does it get any better than that? yes, it does. It does if you stay at Hôtel de Sénéchal.

Pretty summer banners

Yesterday I received in the post the most gorgeous bunting banner ever. I won it over at 6th Street Designs School, thank you Kirsten!!! The banner is made with oilcloth and they are already hanging on the balcony; they are from Modern June, check it out, you will love all her oilcloth products!

The Bikini

It's common knowledge that there are many bikini types, the brazilian, the american, the string and blabla.

 I love these retro styles, and especially the one pieces. So elegant. But I'm against one pieces in general, they kind of ruin your tan, I know shallow but truth. And the brazilian, eeeh what? well yes not THE brazilian, the tiny winy but the low cut let's say, even Victoria Secret has some ;) 

What do you wear?

yeah, I don't look like Gisele by any chance but... oh well!
