Pearl's home

This is the home of Pearl Lowe. For those of you who don't know Pearl Lowe, she is a British songwriter turned designer. After leaving the wild life in London she now lives with all her family in Somerset, close to Bath, in an ever charming cottage. I saw her house in the latest Grazia issue and had to share. i looked around the internet but couldn't find any pictures so here they are straight from the magazine! It's incredibly beautiful, full of rustic and vintage details and quirky bits that make this an unforgettable home.

Rustic

This home, featured in Homes and Gardens, has so many details I like. Like the kitchen floor for example, dark and subtle. The rustic elements, are you tired of hearing me saying it? The living room is crazy gorgeous, earthy colours, amazing accessories, a fab leather couch and a beautiful mustard arm chair. What's more to ask? oh yes, it's an English Edwardian house. ha! beat that...

 

Families

Is there anything more important than family? no, I thought so too. And apparently W magazine thinks so too as the latest issue was dedicated to families. There is a great spread with some conventional and non conventional ones, because at the end of the day families are families and each has its own whatever form it has.  

I absolute adore Katherine Heigl and her little one, cutest mom and daughter ever. The Fendis and Usher and his sons are pretty fab too.

Spain by Lindbergh

We went to the hairdresser the other day and while browsing Vogue Spain, I saw these gorgeous photos.  It's a Spanish celebration shot by the super talented german photographer, Peter Linbergh.  I absolute adore this celebration of everything Spain has to offer: beauty, creativity, talent. From Penelope Cruz to the Flamenco dancer Eva Yerbabuena and from Antonio Banderas to Manolo Blahnik, there is lots to celebrate.

Viva Cuba

I love this Vogue UK shoot. It's actually one of my favorites, for several reasons. One it's in Cuba, I want to believe I love Cuba, two, Angela Lindvall (looking stunning yes!) wears 2 of my favorites pieces, the Stella McCartney ruffled dress and the Proenza Schouler green/yellow top. Beautiful Claudia

This is why Claudia was and is a super model, because she is almost 30 (oooops sorry my mistake, typo, almost 40!) ready to give birth to her girl and looks like this. The German Vogue dedicates their June issue to the german top model and their cover has been shoot by Lagerfeld himself. Very Demi Moore, and for me very very gorgeous, an amazing celebration to a woman's body. I read some comments in the spanish newspaper I found it that were pretty harsh to Claudia and to pregnant bodies, seriously I have no idea where these people have their brains and I rather not tell you what I really think.
