Midnight Conspiracy

Chicago's Midnight Conspiracy is a collaborative trio combining the genius, party throwing gods behind Members Only and one half of Chicago's electro-heads La Dolce Vita. If anything is to be said about what these kids have done on their own account, be prepared for some epic shit to come when they put their powers together.

Seriously, I foresee some weird ass Captain Planet shit going down at MC's upcoming parties where all we see is a flash and before we know it all hunger, poverty and oil spills will cease to exist! OK. Probably not, but there will definitely be drunken dancing ^.^

But 'nuff from me, I'll let their hot off the press rmx do the talking.

Bassnectar - The Name Says It All...

If you were lucky enough to stumble upon Bassnectar at Wicker Park Fest two years back, then you got one hell of a treat! The entire block was sectioned off and about two thousand angry, drunk head-bobbin' yoothz were getting down to some of the nastiest beats on a huge ass PA.
It was pure insanity.

Anyways, Bassnectar has graced the world with another one of his epic mixes full of enough bass to get every beat junky their icy cold electronic fix...

Bassnectar - 2010 IDJ MixTape [MP3]

Welcome to another Bassnectar Transmission.

This episode is 44 minutes and 25 seconds of 10th-generation genre-re-wiring, exploring bass music through an open-minded lens, regardless of tempo, or even beat-structure… this sound clash aims straight for your body, with the intent to melt you down into a fidgeting, wobbling mess of enthusiasm and delight. In addition to some of my favorite old records and samples, this mix features several brand new Bassnectar tracks, heaps of exclusive edits, re-edits, and re-re-re-edits. Lot’s of re. Lot’s of mix. Lot’s of edits. We tore our favorite drum & bass to shreds, injected hip hop with some pogo-stick bass, amped up the tempo of dubstep, freaked out the gypsies, gave a nod to the dreamy 80’s and ended up similar to where we started off: omni-tempo maximalism strikes again.

Enjoy the ride.
