Registration Begins for Clay-Platte Baseball & Softball
The Clay-Platte Baseball League and Northland Girls Softball League will be at Dick’s Sporting Goods Feb. 5 and March 12 to register players for the 2011 season. Games begin the first week of May and run through the end of June with an optional post-season tournament. Gladstone Golf Programs for Spring
Registration begins Monday, Feb. 21, for the Start Smart Golf Program sponsored by Gladstone Parks and Recreation. This six-week program for boys and girls ages 5-7 years old introduces the game of golf and its skills without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt.
Gladstone Parks and Recreation also offers Golf for Beginners, a program for individuals with no previous golf experience. Sessions are limited to five participants per class. No equipment is necessary.
