Northtown Chess Players Win 2nd at State

Four North Kansas City High School students traveled to Columbia for the state chess tournament Saturday, Oct. 16. They took 2nd place overall in the team event for Northtown. Individually, Trenton Walters won 2^nd place. Ty Williams placed 5^th, and Orein Smith and Brandon Williams tied for 7^th place.
