2010 Official Enrollment on the Rise

With official enrollment taken the last Wednesday of September, the District learned there are 241 more students in our schools than a year ago. Student population stands at 18,529.

Original projections of 18,608 were slightly higher, but the District expects to pick up those numbers as the school year continues.

• Most growth was seen at the elementary level. Both Gracemor and Ravenwood have seen increases of more than 20 students.
• Largest increases, however, were at the middle school level with Northgate student numbers growing by 72.
• Currently, the senior class has 58 students more than did the graduating Class of 2010.
