Friday Fright Night
Gladstone Parks & Recreation, in partnership with the Gladstone Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northland Optimist Club, will host “Friday Fright Night” on Friday, October 29, from 6-9 p.m. This fun Halloween event will be held at Oak Grove Park, 76th and N. Troost in Gladstone. There is no charge to attend, and the event is open to the general public.
Local vendors will pass out candy while kids enjoy scary and “non-scary” stories told by the River & Prairie Story Weaver. New for this year is a special presentation by StoneLion Puppets. Marionettes will perform “Bone-yard Jamboree” for your scaring pleasure.
So, put on your best Halloween suit, load the family in the car and be prepared to be scared!

NKC Parks & Rec Hosts Haunted Halloween in the Park
On Saturday, Oct. 30, North Kansas City Parks & Recreation invites you to join them for “Haunted Halloween in the Park”. Festivities begin at 11 a.m. at the Macken Park Festival Shelter. This is a free event for the community. Come in costume and enjoy spooky games, train rides, pumpkin painting, Snoopy and his haunted dog house.
