Christina Hendricks In 'Firefly' In 2002 (PHOTO


Christina Hendricks Before she was the seductive office assistant, Christina Hendricks was the seductive villager/assassin.
The "Mad Men" star (and future guest judge on "Top Chef") guest starred in two episodes of the sci-fi cult classic "Firefly," during its one season run in 2002. She played Saffron, a seemingly simple villager accidentally married to Captain Malcolm Reynolds in a bargain gone wrong -- until she reveals herself to be far more than that. Far more dangerous than that, in fact.
Here's a clip of Hendricks from the show; check her out as an "invisible" high school student, and then in a 1999 Playboy shoot before she hit the big time.
