Panorama Project 3

129 artists, 1 continuous piece. Many fantastic artists were featured at this event, but it was Charlie Becker's CA Dreamn made up of polymer, false teeth, doll eyes and clay that really caught my eye!

Check out all the great art in this fantastic art show.

The Late Tetsuya Ishida

Tetsuya Ishida was a Japanese painter who died May 23,2005 after being hit by a train. His death was suspected to be a suicide which isn't surprising when contrasted against his near-futilistic artwork. Conformity and claustrophobia weigh heavy in his art, portraying - oftentimes himself - characters in scenes of mundane synchronization. I admit it's difficult to not view the world as he did so many times, I just wish someone would have given this guy some LSD.

Clash of the Customizers

Clash of the Customizers is a competition quite unlike any I've ever seen. A recipe that includes equal parts art and fashion, this competition brings together the best custom shoe designers from around the globe. The results are nothing short of shityourpantsspectacular. Whoever's rocking these kicks is undoubtedly the coolest person since this guy.

Hebru Brantley

When I first met Hebru, I was a bit taken aback. At 6foot6 plus, the dude is a beast! Makes sense, though. His paintings can rise over ten feet and his street art his as tall as it is wide, too. But the thing that stood out most to be about Hebru is how genuinely fucking awesome this guy is! He is as kind and endearing as he is talented at art and, if you know anything about art, one look at his paintings and you can tell that says ALOT!

Keep an eye out for his street art Chicago!
(Milwaukee Avenue, Ohio Street Exit *wink wink*)

George W. Hart

Few visual artists can capture the essence of life through sculpture. Basing his work off of the ever so apparent ideas of balance and symmetry, George W. Hart creates some truly astounding sculptures using a wide array of non conventional materials. While the pieces are best viewed in person, these digital images still make me green with envy. Each sculpture holds an immense amount of attention to detail all while retaining its own pleasing aesthetic. You can find pictures of most of his work at the link above. Much love Yooths!

That Kid Who Draws

That Kid Who Draws is a graphic (see: grafuck) designer from Iowa. TKWD does several things in the design world. He does portraits of just about anything and adds a unique vintage look to all of his pieces. He does designs for Jenna Jameson's clothing line Hello Jenna. In addition to this he also designs his own uniquely incredible "grafuck tees". I'm definitely snatching a rave to the grave one.
