School Psychology Awareness Week (Nov. 7-13)
Last week when the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) celebrated the positive work school psychologists do to promote students’ academic and personal success. This year’s focus was “helping students find simple ways to bring out the best in themselves and others.” In NKC Schools, school psychologists serve students in all our schools and the Early Childhood Education Center. Our own Charlotte Smith is the Missouri delegate to the NASP. She provided the following resource from NASP for parents and educators on helping children develop healthy coping skills.
