As many as 1 in 21 students in North Kansas City Schools don’t have a winter coat. With the average temperature in January being 21 degrees, nearly 900 students will need coats this winter!
Please bring new or gently-used donations to the Staley Farms Clubhouse (10310 N. Olive Ave., Kansas City, 64155) on Saturday, Oct. 23, and look for Two Men and a Truck in the parking lot. The goal is to fill the truck with coats, scarves, gloves and other winter wear items. The truck will be at the Staley Farms Clubhouse from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Help us fill the truck! Your kindness will ensure students of all ages are warm this winter as they walk to school, wait for the bus or play outside for recess. For more information, please contact Jenny Burkhead at (816) 547-9699 or Jacqueline Coldren at (816) 377-8800.
