"Miss School. Miss Out." Fall Fun Night

Antioch Middle School in Gladstone will host a "Miss School. Miss Out." Fall Fun Night Wednesday, Oct. 27, for all district middle school parents and guardians.

The "Miss School. Miss Out." campaign was launched earlier this month as part of a Northland-wide campaign to promote school attendance.

The event offers families an opportunity to pick up tips on helping their middle school children succeed in school and gives them a chance to meet other district middle school parents. School staff and community business partners will present the following sessions.

Available sessions being offered parents include:
Prepping for College - MCC - Maple Woods
Synergy 101 - Synergy Services
Guiding Your Student in Personal Finances - CommunityAmerica
Internet Safety and Technology Use - Ellen Baty
Student Services - Kristen Smith
PowerSchool and Website Information - Julie Baldridge & Lori Barnes
Media Center Chat - Velda McMorris
Healthy Foods at a Reasonable Cost - Jenna Converse
Cultural Fair - NKCHS Sabor Latino Dance Troupe & Antioch students

Free dinner and free childcare will be available for those who register by Oct. 25 with Mrs. Stephanie Theis at (816) 413-6294 or stheis@nkcsd.k12.mo.us.
