The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education finalized the Annual Performance Report (APR) data on Oct. 8 and subsequently released the official list of school districts that earned the prestigious “Distinction in Performance” designation.
Of Missouri’s 522 public school districts, 360 earned Distinction in Performance. However, NKC Schools was among a much smaller group of select districts that earned the maximum of 14 of 14 performance standards on the APR, placing your school district among the best of the best.
Credit for this accomplishment goes to industrious students, dedicated teachers and staff as well as to parents who set high expectations at home and encourage their students to prioritize education.
Many other area school districts made the list as well. You can read at: http://www.dese.mo.gov/news/2010/documents/QS_2009-10_DIPdistricts.pdf
