Grant Gates, Jeff Mason and Jacqueline “Heidi” Soderstrom, seniors at North Kansas City High School; and Robert Link and Alex Long, seniors at Staley High School, have been named Semifinalists in the 2010 National Merit® Scholarship Program.
Gates is the son of Elinor and Gary Gates of Kansas City-North. Mason is the son of Susan and Forrest Mason of Gladstone, and Soderstrom is the daughter of Bruce Soderstrom of Kansas City-North. Link is the son of Susan and Robert Link Jr. of Kansas City-North, and Long is the son of Teresa and Mike Long, also of Kansas City-North.
