People's Choice Awards winners Taylor Swift and Johnny Depp bond over actor's daughter, Lily-Rose

A star struck Taylor Swift accepted a People's Choice Award from Elton John Wednesday night, only to be treated like the star she is by Johnny Depp.
The "Speak Now" singer presented the Favorite Movie Actor award to the 47-year-old "Pirates of the Caribbean" star, who emerged from backstage to the crowd's screams and a standing ovation.
After a brief tête-à-tête with Depp, the 21-year-old songstress retreated to the left of the stage.
"Taylor Swift, by the way," Depp said upon approaching the mike. "My daughters said if I didn't say hi to you I'd be in big trouble, so."
Swift waved and issued a "hello" to 11-year-old Lily-Rose Depp, before dad went on to thank his fans.
Prior to the Depp-Swift love in, the country star behaved with Sir Elton John about as star struck as Depp's daughter would have acted in her presence.

People s Choice Awards Winners: Did the People Get it Right?

Queen Latifah hosted the Peoples Choice Awards Wednesday night.  The people, the people!

I know the People’s Choice Awards is more of a popularity contest than a measure of talent.  But still.
Selena Gomez as Breakout Artist?  Kristen Stewart – Favorite Movie Actress?  Really?
No disrespect to these two young women but… come on!   I guess the people have chosen.
At these type of awards, you know who is going to win when you see only winner in the audience and not the other nominees.
Because if the others showed up and didn’t win, it would be an embarrassment.
There’s my rant about the People’s Choice Awards.
The highlight of the night was watching how annoyingly awkward Kristen Stewart was, while her co-stars Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson shined.
