City of Los Angeles Parking Division of the County of Los Angeles

Hello Every One. I want to share with all you the after been back and forth with The City of Los Angeles Parking Violation Division of the County of Los Angeles, I have decided to pay the ticket and move on with my life. The fees with the City of Los Angeles Parking Violation Division are out of control.

Please see picture of the letter I received from them when they mail me the ticket, stating the their employee/contractor was not able to give me the ticket. I just feel I was rip off by the system.

What I learned; next time just look for a parking lot and paid for it. Don't risk any more and let the paid parking lots to make money and the City of LA Parking Violation Division will lost revenue.

The City of Los Angeles Parking Violations Bureau Abusing The Visitors & Citizens

Yes,

I was dropping my friend in front of his home. Five day later I get a letter from the City of LA Parking Violations Bureau with an apology stating the the driver was not able to cite me on the day the I drop my ill friend who was not able to walk.
Will have TV networks to investigate The City of Los Angeles on this parking meter practices. They want visitors to come and expend their money but they are taking advantage by citing them with high tickets. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, please give us the visitors and citizens of Los Angeles a break.

(This to be continue)

DON'T VISIT THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD

First, I want to say to all to watch where you park in the City of West Hollywood because their signs are very confusing especially for visitors. (See pictures of some of the signs and watch out because the Towing companies have partner with the City of West Hollywood to make money from you).
I would just say to all, not to visit a city the was incorporated in 1984 and who needs their residents and visitors to survive. But they should provide incentives to visitors to visit, like 2 free hours parking and validation from the business owners.

The city of West Hollywood gets a percentage from the towing companies for towing your car. Also the tickets are very high. Do you think the is fair for visitors to be abuse by the city of WEHO? Well, next time just think twice if you visit the City of West Hollywood and make sure to pay for a parking spot and do not use their meters like the they will respect their visitors and not abuse them.

So do not visit the City of West Hollywood, please go somewhere else to expend your hard earn money. Other cities will appreciate your business and support, not the City of West Hollywood, where they are taking advantage of visitors.

The City of West Hollywood should be investigate by big TV Networks and publicize the underground investigation to all their citizens.

You want to SPEAK UP, then contact me feel free to email at: diversitynews@hotmail.com

Information from the City of West Hollywood Visitors Bureau site:
Officially founded in 1984 as the 84th city in Los Angeles County, West Hollywood is a young, vibrant community with a colorful and entertaining past!

From its 19th century beginnings as a virtual “no man’s land,” the region soon became prime location for a railway, and in 1894, a man named Moses Sherman bought the land and designated it as the headquarters of the Los Angeles Pacific Railway Co. This venture sparked the need for housing, and West Hollywood (then a town called “Sherman”) started to see its first bout of immense growth. The little town grew fast, and by 1912 it was dubbed “The Queen of the Foothills” and guidebooks praised its climate, ideal location, and quality of community.

In the 1970’s the gay movement influenced West Hollywood’s direction, as gay and lesbian citizens became more assertive of their rights and felt free to ‘come out of the closet’. Because West Hollywood was unincorporated, it flew under the then-homophobic Los Angeles Police Department’s radar, and a thriving gay community was established. Due to the gay influence and citizens with money to spend, commercial and residential sections of the city were revitalized, and these new attractive properties made for a new vibrancy throughout the city. Along with gays, Russian Jews sought out West Hollywood as a refuge, a mix of elderly citizens and young families flocking to what is now the East Side of West Hollywood.

At this time, citizens and leaders realized the problems of occupying an unincorporated city and after years of grassroots campaigning and fast mobilization by community members to take more local control, West Hollywood was formally incorporated as its own city in 1984.

Editor Note: More photos will be posted soon and will be posting reports from other writers about this issue with the City of West Hollywood. They need their citizens and visitors to be independent but with this kind of business practices they will not be able to survive.
