30 for 30: Week 5 - the end

and the end has finally arrived. And let me tell, while it has been an exciting and challenging experience I don't think you will see me doing it again soon. I think it's an absolutely BRILLIANT idea. I learnt I could combine items I didnt dare before, I mixed patterns and textures and became fearless (kind of) but I miss having the liberty to wear anything I want. The shopping ban was also very welcomed and  made me realise I actually don't need to buy that much stuff, not at the moment at least.
I missed my clothes! Hello closet!
Have a great week lovelies!

30 for 30: Week 4

I can't believe it's close to be done. Still 6 days to go of course (probably the most challenging) but it's been 24 days, amazing really! Not going to lie, it's getting difficult, very. I feel I'm limited and running out of options. However, It's definitely doable, in my circumstances and in better too. My mistake was made when picking my options. Not enough basics, to many patterns in cardigans and shirts/tops which means 1 thing, difficult to combine. And you know what that means? Next week, brace yourselves, you might be in for a senses treat! aka pattern galore. I really liked Day 20, stripes, lace skirt and brogues, my winner this week.

30 for 30: Week 3

Look! I always look the same! Funny how we almost always end up posing the same way. I'm feeling more positive about the 30 for 30 this week. 18 days are now behind me, with 18 different outfits and hey only 12 to go!
How has your weekend been? I didn't make it to Ikea, surprise! but my mom is coming on Thursday so we will try to make it together, which is even better.

Have I told you how much I love my Kindle, I have always enjoyed reading but now with the Kindle everything is so much easier and exciting somehow. Just finished the new John Grisham. I was such a Grisham fan, then I stopped -I read that this new one, The Confession, is one of his bests and very similar to his first great books and to be honest I really really enjoyed it.
What are you reading right now?

30 for 30: week 2

Ah it's getting harder, and harder and let me tell you... a lot harder! The "what to wear" is a struggle, do I lack imagination? it seems so! I'm realising, again, that I didnt pick right... But well suck it up darling - I say- and keep going, that's why it's a challenge! Sorry to ramble! How has your weekend been? I know some of you are also taking part of the challenge, how is it going? Let me know if so and I'll definitely come stalk.
On a different note, I finished reading The Help on Saturday, what an extraordinaire book. It took me a bit longer than usual to get into it but it is an extremely heart warming story that deeply touched me. I highly recommend it

have a great week!

Sunday Outfit will be back soon

Where is the Sunday Outfit? Well we are taking a break until the 30 for 30 challenge is over. I didn't want to overwhelm anyone wit too many photos of this poser!
The challenge has been pretty intense so far, it is more complicated than I initially thought but nonetheless definitely fun. I do think sometimes than I didn't chose wisely but hey what's done is done so we shall see...

I finally made the apple pie I have been wanting to try for some time now! I saw that Danielle made it just before Christmas and it looked amazing so I asked her if she would mind sharing her recipe, she didn't! Thanks Danielle! I still can't believe I made the crust from scratch!

30 for 30 Challenge: My picks

I'm taking the challenge! What challenge I hear you say? Kendi's 30 for 30. And I am very excited I won't be posting outfits daily, most likely it will be done once a week, hope to make it work. So, do you all know the rules? Check them out here. Are you joining? Have you ever done one of Kendi's challenges? I'd love to hear about it.
And here are my 30 pieces (plus NO shopping at all, yay or nay! I will definitely need your encouragement in this field!)
