Three district students will compete at the 47th Annual National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC) that showcases career and technical education students.
Madeline Cherrito, an Oak Park High School junior, will participate in Leadership Development - Prepared Speech competition. Also competing is Ja’Kyra Shelton, a senior from North Kansas City High School. Shelton competes as part of a three-person team in Crime Scene Investigation, which is part of Skilled and Technical Sciences.
Criminal Justice, also part of the Skilled and Technical Sciences, is the area in which Seth Quiles, a Staley High School senior, competes.
