Three candidates ran for three openings on the Board of Education, so there was no need for their names to appear on the April 5 ballot. During the April 12 business meeting, the Board installed and welcomed new member Dixie Youngers and returning members Tammy Henderson and Joe Jacobs. The board officers remain the same as last year with Spencer Fields as president, Melissa Roberts as vice president and Terry Ward treasurer.
