Dangerous Intersection to be Made Safer

There have been six accidents reported at the intersection of N. Woodland and Shoal Creek Parkway this year. On Thursday morning (Dec. 9, 2010), the most serious one yet occurred. It was a head-on collision that involved three cars, extrication and sent two people to the hospital.

The incident generated an outpouring of community concern, but it also triggered prompt action from Kansas City officials.
