About a Chair

I keep seeing the Tolix (or Marais) chair a bit of everywhere lately. The chair was designed in 1934 by Xavier Pauchard. The chairs are made of varnished steel and it was how galvanization first appeared, absolutely fascinating that metal can get rusted. The chair was originally called A chair and renamed A56 in 1956 by Xavier's son. Love the industrially and the french bistro flare. Don't you think it looks amazing pretty much anywhere?
